Welcome to the Program
Science, Mathematics and Technology continue to develop rapidly, making it difficult for teachers to keep their knowledge of these areas current. These resources are designed to provide some insight into how some of the concepts that are taught in senior secondary science, mathematics and technology are utilised in industry and research and to stimulate students to think about possible careers in these directions. These materials have been prepared by experienced senior secondary teachers and are based upon the curriculum statements of the South Australian Certificate of Education, in conjunction with academic staff from the University of Adelaide. Teachers should feel free to use these resources as they see appropriate.
This material has been developed as a part of the Australian School Innovation in Science, Technology and Mathematics Project funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Science and Training as a part of the Boosting Innovation in Science, Technology and Mathematics Teaching (BISTMT) Programme.
